How do I connect to another computer?
Install ModiDesk on both machines, read the device ID and one-time password on the remote side, then enter them on your machine and press Connect. The full walkthrough is in the documentation.
Can I access a device when no one is there?
Yes. Set a permanent password for unattended access (or choose that option in the installer) and you can reach the device any time. See step 3 of the docs.
Where is my data stored?
ModiDesk runs on Modibus Cloud across multiple regions. Sessions are end-to-end encrypted and, where the law requires it, your data can be pinned to a specific country so it never leaves that jurisdiction. More on the security page.
How do I upgrade to Pro?
Sign in to the admin console and choose a plan. Pro is €3 per user / month and unlocks teams, SSO, audit logs and unlimited devices.
Which platforms are supported?
Windows is available now. macOS, Linux, Android and iOS clients are coming soon. You’ll be able to connect between any combination of them.
